Oliveira & Termini Duo is formed by the classical saxophonists Mafalda Oliveira, from Portugal, and Ileana Termini, from Italy. Having a passion for both chamber music and solo performance, Ileana and Mafalda have come together in an ensemble that constantly explores the duality between these two characteristics, and where their personalities can both challenge and complete each other.

Mafalda and Ileana have come to the city of Amsterdam at the age of 18 with the ambition to study at the conservatory with the prestigious teachers Arno Bornkamp and Willem van Merwijk. As part of this class, they have had the chance to have Masterclasses with Lars Mlekush, Joonatan Rautiola, Jean-Denis Michat, Nobuya Sugawa, Arnold Marininsen, Walter van Hauwe, among others. and to perform in some of the most prestigious Dutch concert halls, such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam and Muziekgebouw aan‘t IJ.
