Which place can you call home? Where are your roots? How do you integrate in Dutch society while at the same time remaining connected to the country you call home?
Which place can you call home? Where are your roots? How do you integrate in Dutch society while at the same time remaining connected to the country you call home?
Questions that are relatable to anyone with a history of migration. Through a series of short videos from five young Chinese artists, who currently live and work in the Netherlands, we focus on stating and demonstrating our existing power system, representing the cultural transmutation, and positioning the roots of our belongings. It proposes a dialogue between wandering and settlement, fantasy and reality, and the past and the present.
